Vtg Skipper SKOOTER Doll Orig Hair Bows ~ “What’s New at the Zoo?” Near Mint!
This listing is for a 1965 SKOOTER Doll wearing “What’s New at the Zoo?” Fashion.  Both Doll and Fashion are in Near Mint condition.
Skooter has her original hair set with both red ribbons. Her straight leg body is correctly marked with “c. 1963/Mattel Inc.” on her butt and “Japan” on her right foot. Her arms have darkened somewhat over the years. Her face paint is excellent with no loss that I can see, her lips have lightened a bit. She has lots of cute freckles.
She comes dressed in an original and complete Skipper tagged fashion, #1925, c.1966,  “What’s New at the Zoo? .” The sleeveless dress is red broadcloth with a loop trim placket and 3 shank buttons, two pleats below the drop waist, white cotton sweater with red edging, and red flat shoes complete the outfit.
The fashion is in Near Mint condition, very crisp with no rips, tears, holes or mends, tag is 100% complete (see photos). She’s ready to display!
Doll stand is NOT included.
