This listing is one of a fantastic collection of vintage Barbie and friends dolls, clothing and accessories I will be posting in the coming days!  Unless noted below, all items are original vintage Mattel issued Barbie items.  I do not sell reproductions or off brand items so rest assured.

Here are the markings I use to help determine the number and the year of manufacture of each doll as listed in the title:
1965
American Girl issued with indented body markings which read “1958/Mattel Inc./U.S. Patented/U.S. Pat. Pend.”
1966 American Girl issued
with raised body markings which read “1958/Mattel Inc./U.S. Patented/U.S. Pat. Pend./Made in Japan.”
CONDITION NOTES:
This lovely doll comes with excellent uncut hair, perfect eyebrows, eyelashes, eyes, cheeks and only slightly faded lips.  Her fingernail polish is about 95% there.  Aside from several pin holes I found on her lower legs and feet, she has a great body with no marks, chips or chews.  Her hips and arms are nice and snug and her knees snap into all four positions very well.  She is from a smoke free home and has no foul odors.  Her clothing is minty showing no wear and her heels and booklet are still in their original plastic wrapper.  She has her torn wrist tag, as you can see.  Her box is excellent showing only minor edge wear.

I will note in the CONDITION NOTES any details or flaws that are not readily apparent in the pictures but please keep in mind that I sometimes miss a small problem. Unless you do not wish to pay for it, all shipments will be fully insured. Please allow me to send a final invoice including the cost of insurance before you pay your invoice. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR INSURANCE AND ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SHIPMENT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WON’T ADD IT TO YOUR BILL. The insurance charges will be listed in the “SELLER CHARGES” section so please remember this when you review your invoice. THE SELLER CHARGES SECTION IS ONLY INSURANCE, NO EXTRA FEES.
