Here I have made nice sections of Mountain Laurel railings. Let me make some for you. These mainly involve rectangles of pre cut 2×4, or 2×6 sections of pine with Laurel pieces twisting through.
The Laurel is covered with a spray-on poly to protect the wood and add a finished sheen.
And I can stain the 2×4’s, before construction, to match any color you like. Average height on these are 28″ to 36″, and lengths are anywhere from 2′ to 10′. Handrails on top and the “boxed-in” trim can be purchased separately, and assembled by me on these sections , or I can send the essential sections for your local carpenter to install and add handrails and trim.
Either way, these are custom made sections and I would need EXACT measurements to best fit your size needs. All of my railings pass a 3.5″ diameter safety code, meaning you cant pass a 3.5″ sphere anywhere in the rails. Prices on average for these are $75 horizontal foot.( without trim, just 2×4 box with laurel…with trim $85 per foot ) So a 3 foot section would be 3 x $75 = $225. An 8 foot section, 8 x$75= $600 , etc. *** I DO GIVE PRICE DISCOUNTS ON LARGER ORDERS! *** Stairway/diagonal are more based on angle and difficulty.
